DESCRIPTION:Honour the peak of light. Celebrate your inner fire. Plant the seed for the season ahead. \nIn this 2-hour interactive workshop to welcome the longest day\, you will move\, breathe\, and meditate with the rhythm of the solstice — leaving you feeling expansive\, calm\, and deeply integrated. \nIn Chinese medicine and Qigong\, this season is governed by the Fire element and the Heart\, the seat of joy\, creativity\, and the Shen (spirit). But the solstice also holds a quiet secret: at the very peak of light\, the year begins its gentle turn toward darkness. This is a sacred invitation to not only celebrate outwardly\, but to harvest this vibrant energy and draw it inward for nourishment\, grounding\, and healing. \nYou will practice breath work\, Qigong movements\, acupressure and massage\, and enjoy a seated guided imagery meditation — all as they relate to the approaching Summer Solstice. Everything will be taught with clear\, step-by-step instruction and modifications for different abilities. All levels welcome. In person or on Zoom. Recording available to registrants.
