Swimming Dragon Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice characterized by serpentine, flowing movements that mimic a dragon swimming through water and flying up to the clouds. It combines elements of qigong, Daoist yoga, and martial arts, originating from the Wudang mountain region in China.

This 2 hour workshop teaches the practice that involves twisting, stretching, and coiling motions that engage the entire body. These movements are designed to improve flexibility, balance, and coordination. These movements benefit you health as they massages internal organs, stimulates blood and qi circulation, and helps in detoxifying the body by mobilizing fats and toxins into lymphatic drainage.

There are many benefits of this moving meditation including:

Emotional balance as it calms the mind, eases stress, and enhances mood.

Physical Health improvements as the practice enhances joint strength and flexibility, promotes weight loss, and supports spinal health.

Improved organ function by stimulating qi flow, balancing hormones, and regulating digestion.

Enhanced Longevity where Practitioners often report increased vitality and resilience, with some historical accounts suggesting it can reverse aging effects.

Swimming Dragon Qigong is suitable for all experience levels and can be practiced in small spaces due to its compact movements. By the end of the workshop, you will have the tools to create a personalized breath practice for your own wellbeing and benefit from your newfound knowledge in your daily life. This workshop is being offered in a hybrid environment in person and on zoom and a recording of the workshop is provided to all participants to continue the practice.
